VPR Attorneys was formed by Trish Palan-Ramchand who graduated at the then University of Natal in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. With the completion of her articles at the Pinetown Justice Centre (Legal Aid Board) and having gained a wealth of experience in civil and criminal work, she was duly admitted as an attorney.

She subsequently relocated to the Western Cape and was employed at Legal Wise where she quickly progressed up the ranks in the space of a few years. She started a Legal Cost Consultancy drafting bills for attorneys and in the same year, she qualified as a Debt Counsellor. At an Immigration company, she gained experience assisting with Immigration related matters. The notion to start her own practice then arose and VPR Attorneys was formed.

She strongly believes that there are practical, amicable and cost-effective mechanisms to dealing with matters. She holds many hats: Attorney, Business Woman, Wife, Mother, Teacher, Cook… and the list goes on.
